How it works
1 — Processing of mineral waste
Mineral waste is processed at high temperatures in a thermal oxy-fuel process, in which hazardous components undergo thermal destruction under environmentally safe conditions.
2 — Utilization of synergies
Surplus O2, heat, and CO2 are utilized in synergy with neighboring industrial partners to ensure a minimal environmental impact.
3 — Recyclable building materials
As a final step the mineral resources are processed and converted into a recycled CO2 neutral cement substitute.

Projektet “Trinity Synergies Fredericia” er støttet af Den Europæiske Union gennem Fonden for Retfærdig Omstilling.
Formålet med projektet er at gennemføre teknisk, regulatorisk og økonomisk modning af et planlagt genanvendelsesanlæg i Fredericia. Projektet omfatter blandt andet ingeniørmæssig projektering, tekniske analyser og øvrige forberedende aktiviteter, som skal danne grundlag for en fremtidig investeringsbeslutning. Projektet bidrager til den grønne omstilling ved at udvikle og modne løsninger til øget genanvendelse og ressourceudnyttelse samt skabe grundlag for fremtidig etablering af anlæg med fokus på cirkulær økonomi. Projektet gennemføres med støtte fra EU.
